ABOUT US
Our History: Our Savior Lutheran Church originated in 1925 when a farming community of mostly German settlers established St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Ray Point (just east of Three Rivers). In 1965, the congregation moved to Three Rivers where they built a facility with room to grow and renamed it Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Our Mission: As a community of believers, we will grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ, and share God's love through worship, learning, fellowship and service.
Our Membership: We voted on August 22, 2010 to leave the ELCA and join the NALC, North American Lutheran Church. We have officially left the ELCA and are members of the NALC as of September 13, 2010.
The NALC came into being in 2010. In keeping with the Lutheran Confessions, the NALC believes that all doctrines should and must be judged by the teachings of Scripture. The NALC is committed to being Christ-Centered, Mission-Driven, Traditionally-Grounded, and Congregationally-Focused.
